From QueTek Consulting :File Scavenger is a file-undelete and data-recovery utility. Files accidentally deleted from Windows Explorer, the Recycle Bin, the command line window, or a network share can be recovered along with the original folder name and dates. Reformatted volumes, broken spanned volumes, or broken hardware and software RAID volumes also can be recovered. Digital photos on almost all media can be recovered.
Version 3.2 is a bug fixing release.
What's new in this version:
Version 3.2 revision 8 has a fix for the Partial Search feature.

Pros: worked once
Cons: I bought this for a computer and when I formatted, the software no longer worked and I can't use it anymore. Support is bad. No way to transfer license. I paid to use it one time.. great.

Pros: tried this software, spent money but it doesn't work, very discouraging I dont know why it does not work. I know lots about computers.

Pros: Simple but works. Very intuitively.
I accidentally deleted a whole directory in my D: drive several days ago.
The data is invaluable to me. I googled to see if anything is available out there
that can help me to retrieve my data. File Scavenger came up. I downloaded it.
Wow!!! I got all my data back in just an hour. I cannot be any happier. This saved
my day. I will recommend this to anybody.
