From Tony Gentilcore :Fasterfox allows you to tweak many network and rendering settings such as simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay. Dynamic speed increases can be obtained with the unique prefetching mechanism, which recycles idle bandwidth by silently loading and caching all of the links on the page you are browsing. A pop-up blocker for pop-ups initiated by Flash plug-ins is also included.

Version: Fasterfox 1.0.3
Pros: Small free file to increase speeds of the firefox browser. Easy to use since all you have to tell it is you computer and connection speed.
Cons: Couldn't really tell any speed difference. This probably because of my broadband connection and fast comp., others may find it more useful.

Pros: It does what it says. It improves Firefox's Speed.
Cons: Even though it does increase performance, it's still not that noticable. It's definitley worth the download, but don't expect a massive boost.

Pros: This is the first extension for FF I ever downloaded when I first heard about FF. It gave me a much faster browsing experience than I ever got with IE and even times my page load times for me. This page took 5.531 seconds to load. Thanks, Fasterfox.

Pros: Fasterfox is one of the best extensions for FireFox, FireFox exploring has became more faster and better, It also works on FireFox 2.1, GREAT!!
