From Family Photo Buddy :Family Photo Buddy Server is a multi user database server for sharing image collections. You can 'serve up' your photo database(s) to family and friends over your cable or DSL Internet connection or your local network (your users will want to be on broadband for acceptable performance). You use it with the free Family Photo Buddy client. The client allows you to enter descriptions, people, dates. You may want to try it out (in single user mode) first. As a 'live' database, you won't need to export images to stale web pages any more. Many people can collaborate on a shared image database, entering descriptions, people. You are in full control of your database - end-to-end. No third parties will be asking your family and friends for their email address or to 'register'. You can secure your database with user names and passwords for full privacy.
