From FairStars Soft :FairStars Audio Converter converts WAV, RealMedia (RM, RA, RAM, RMJ, RMVB), AIFF, AU, Creative VOC, PVF, SVX, IFF, APE, FLAC, OGG, VQF, MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, WMV, and ASF files to WMA, MP3, VQF, OGG, FLAC, APE, and WAV formats. You can convert multiple files in a single batch, regardless of their sources and target formats. The audio-format conversions are performed without any temporary files, allowing high conversion speeds. The application's other features include normalization (volume adjustment) and support for ID3 tags.
Version 1.55 corrects a fatal decoding error for some type of WAV format, also corrects an error of bitrate option for WMA format.

"All extentions with a high-quality sound."
Pros: FairStars Audio Converter is really an easy-to-use with many options to ensure your sound quality.The limitation of the trial version is 3-minute conversion , It's Enough for me.

"Cannot do conversions to AU media-type"
Pros: Has many types of audio conversion.
Cons: They claim it can convert WAV to AU but didnt find this option after the download.

"Needed WMA volume normalization"
Pros: Probably works well as a media converter, but I needed volume level normalization (like MP3 Gain) except for WMA. It made a slight increase in level norm, but did not truly normalize.
Cons: WMA normalization leaves a lot to be desired

Pros: Simple, easy to use interface (if a tad ugly), support for all all major audio formats (its .flac support was the reason I got it) and faster than all the others I tried.
As Total Video Converter can do pretty much everything this can I was going to use that, but this has much better ID3 support.
