Publisher's description
From F-Secure :Secure Terminal Emulation
SSH is a modern secure alternative to the telnet protocol. SSH provides fast VT102 emulation with support for color and VT graphics character sets. Connection cloning makes it possible to quickly open any number of terminal sessions using a single authentication. It is the ultimate tool for Unix shell access.
Securing Email Protocols
SMTP, IMAP and POP can be tunneled from your Macintosh to the email server. Instead of connecting directly to the server, your email client is configured to connect to the SSH program on your Macintosh, which then forwards the connection through the SSH2 protocol to the email server. No unencrypted data is transmitted over the Internet.
Securing FTP
A special purpose proxy tunnel permits complete encryption of FTP connections, including command and data channels, so that passwords and data are fully encrypted and protected from eavesdropping and tampering. Use your favorite FTP client to transfer files. Update your web site using the built-in FTP client in your web page editor (Home Page, Dreamweaver, etc).
