This application makes scheduling shutdown operations for your PC easy, although we encountered functionality flaws during testing.
Ez Off's tabbed, skinnable interface is easy enough to operate and offers one-click process buttons and pull-down menus for scheduling. Users can set a schedule to log off, shutdown, lock down, or reboot the computer. You can initiate shutdown operations for a specific duration or by setting a start and end time. Ez Off can also be set to notify you before a shutdown function is about to be executed. We like that you can easily copy settings for other days of the week. Unfortunately, the demo version is limited to 14 days and it doesn't allow you to change the password. In addition, the program doesn't disable the Task Manager, making it easy for anyone to disable the timer.
During our initial test, Ez Off failed to execute operations, but subsequent tests proved otherwise. For the most part, Ez Off works, but the few functionality issues we came across leave us to question its reliability as a parental control tool.

Pros: I used the free trial then two weeks ago I purchased the licenced version.I had minor issues with program configuration but the guys from tech support helped me promtly.Great program. Great features.

Pros: The program installed simply enough and configuring was not difficult.
Cons: Both my kids computers began having trouble with the program and after leaving several messages and emails I've yet to hear from them and it's been several weeks. Not happy.
