Extension Overload is a comprehensive database that reviews and gives detailed information on extensions and control panels that are commonly found in the Extensions and Control Panel folders in Mac OS versions 7.5 through 9.2.1. It features a comprehensive database with a total of 5,367 extensions, CSM, CMM, and updates to the user manual.

Version 5.9.1 added Mac OS 9.2.1 compatibility, offered balloon help on items not currently in the database, and fixed bugs. This update adds more information on extensions and control panels.

Note: This trial version provides partial database information on 70 percent of the extensions and Control Panel modules, and it displays a nag screen. Registration is $29.
