Extension Overload (formerly called Xtension Overload) is a comprehensive database that reviews and gives detailed information on more than 4,265 extensions and Control Panels that are commonly found in the Extensions and Control Panel folders, in Mac OS versions 7.0 through 9.0.4.

Version 5.7.2 Fixes the Navigation Services Missing problem with 8.1 or earlier; fixes a display/possible crashing bug in the search dialog; adds descriptions of 25 Control Strip modules, 15 extensions, 27 Contextual Menu Items, and five Control Panel modules for a total of 4,430 extensions, extensions, CSM, and CMM plug-ins; offers better support for non English Mac OS; and updates more URLs and e-mail addresses.

Note: This unregistered version provides only partial database information on 70 percent of the extensions and Control Panel modules, and displays a nag screen. Registration is $20.
