This program helps parents control the time their children spend in front of a computer. Enuff allows several children's accounts and two parental administrators. You can restrict the total time of use or let each account-holder use the computer only on certain days and times. Advanced settings can restrict the use of programs such as instant messengers or peer-to-peer clients. You can also have the PC sign off and the modem hang up after a period of inactivity. The password-protected program can't be stopped using the Task Manager. On installation, Enuff prompts you to create an emergency diskette to use if you forget your administrator password. The plain interface has some problems, though. For example, you can add programs to the lists of restricted and allowed programs at the same time; but, if you add programs to the allowed list, Enuff interprets this as prohibiting all others. On the other hand, you can easily save and copy one user's setting to another's, and the program doesn't take much memory. Parents struggling to keep their kids from becoming Internet addicts will give thanks for Enuff.Publisher's description
From Akrontech :Enuff is a computer and Internet timer and a parental control. It allows parents and facility administrators to control the amount of time users (children, employees, students, and visitors) spend on the computer, whether playing games or surfing the Internet. You can control which applications and programs can be used by each user. When access time is expiring, the user is notified twice before time runs out, allowing them to save their work. Enuff has the ability to completely block access to various programs, and works over a network so a user can log on to any computer and still be monitored. The differences between Enuff and other similar programs are ease of use, reliability, and the support provided by the makers. Enuff is the toughest program of its kind.
Improvements in this version include more security, one program for all Windows OSs, and a more simplified interface.

Version: Enuff 7.0
"software is good but support sucks"
Pros: tried the trial version and it worked pretty well and seems fairly easy to use.
Cons: they don't answer emails or anything so there is no support whatsoever

Version: Enuff 7.0
Pros: The old "xp" release of the product is very stable for xp versions if you use only one login and have as few accounts as possible. If you use win9x the latest release as well as earlier releases seem to work fine. I have used this product for several years but see my writeup on cons too!
Cons: Customer service and real stability improvements seem to be sadly lacking in this program.

"Forget getting any help from the company"
Pros: The program worked great!
Cons: I needed to have it re=registered with the company after I purchased it because my old computer was replaced by a new one. I have been unable to get a new code from them via the online form, email or phone call. No response at all.

Version: Enuff 7.0
"wiped out my email and ms messenger passwords"
Pros: It does what it says. It limits my kids to 45 minutes a day on their favorite game. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they could play their game while in my Windows account (like they always had before, but they still had to identify themselves to Enuff and start the clock.
Cons: Right after the install, my passwords for my two email accounts in Outlook were wiped clean. Also my password for MS messenger was also gone. Luckily I knew them from memory. My wife was not so lucky and is locked out of her gmail account. She had relied on Outlook to remember her password and Enuff wiped it out. Needless to say I'm in the doghouse.

Version: Enuff 7.0
"Good approach, but doesn't work on XP well."
Pros: Good concept, but not reliable
Cons: Enuff PC frequently and without reason places holds on accounts. This requires constant attention from the administrator - not acceptable. I have cleared a hold only to find it was placed again when I logged on as the child a minute later! Also, it sometimes does not log the user off the internet when time is up. Certainly not worth spending $34.95 for.
