EmEditor Professional has the kind of hybridization we find irresistible and oh-so-advantageous in a text-editing program. This versatile editor combines a macro creator worthy of programming pundits with full-fledged, feature-rich text-editing capabilities clothed in a clean, color-coded interface.
Developers and power users will love the wealth of languages and syntaxes, including C#, C , Java, PERL, PHP, Python, SQL, and XML. The macro creator has been boosted in in previous versions to record PerlScript, PHPScript, Python, and Ruby keystrokes, and now it also supports users who need to record mouse movements.
We appreciate the stackable tabs, the multithreading windows, and the option to apply a 64-bit version (not tested).

From Emurasoft :EmEditor Professional, a text editor for Windows, supports JavaScript or VBScript macros, Unicode, plug-ins, syntax highlighting (including embedded scripts in HTML, ASP, and PHP files), drag-and-drop, and menu and keyboard customizations. The text editor supports not only JavaScript and VBScript for the text editing macros, but also PerlScript, PHPScript, Python, Ruby, and many other ActiveScript languages as long as script engines you want to use are installed on your system. Version 7 can record and play keystrokes and mouse operation against other applications, and includes new plug-ins including Projects and Word Complete, lots of new objects for macros, the Macros Toolbar, and portability options (such as USB drive setup), virtual space mode, wrap indent, smooth scroll, Theme feature for color settings, and crash auto-recovery.

Pros: This editor has taken me away from all other tools for website design and development. It has become my main tool for everything. Great Work!

Pros: It's a true unicode text editor and this feature along with block-selection, great search&replace and plugins makes EmEditor really pro.

"Unique text editor that works perfectly with double byte characters."
Pros: Vow, it can preview html file now.
Cons: Print margin settings do not seem to produce the desired results
