From SOW :Effective File Search lets you search for any file on your computer or local network. The program includes support for all popular file formats (MS Office, PDF, RTF, HTML, and many other text and binary files). Search filters include date and size, as well as text or hexadecimal codes. You may use Boolean operators to perform multiple keyword searches. All results and parameters can be saved to file. The application's other features include exporting, Windows Explorer functionality (icons, context menus, drag and drop), and file operations (copy, rename, delete).
Version 5.3 adds new parameters for text search: || - or, ||+| - and, ||-| - and not, and new language - Spanish.

Pros: Does searches using filenames only
Cons: but not comments or keywords, which is what I needed

"Excellent! Much more powerful than MS search."
Pros: I needed to comb through ASP files for strings of text. Windows search couldn't do it. This worked perfectly.
