Version: Effective File Search 3.9
"Do you prefer Windows 98 searching over Windows 2000/XP?"
Pros: Appears EXACTLY like Windows 98 search function.
Works much faster than searching in Windows 2000 and XP.
Cons: Its not free for something that Windows already does.

Version: Effective File Search 3.9
"Good, but misses crucial time-based searching"
Pros: It was faster than Windows search.
Searching multiple directories is nice.
Cons: Time-based searches are limited to a granularity of days. What I really want is to say "Show me all the files modified in the last 15 minuts". Couldn't do that with this product. That is what kept me from buying it. It could be made much more efficient with a UI design overhaul.
