Version: EditPad Pro 6.1
Pros: I use this product to edit HTML, Perl, CSS, JavaScript -- you name it. It does the color coding, it shows me (especially in Perl) where I may be forgetting something. Allows me to open many files, make changes across a whole range of them. I use it not only for coding, but for many writing tasks (short articles). Hardly ever use a "proper" word processor anymore.
Cons: It's a bit dull, but hey, it's a blank page.

Version: EditPad Pro 6.1
Pros: I use EditPad Pro 6 mostly as a text, HTML and CSS editor, but it edits many other kinds of code as well. It's fabulous! One of my favorite things about it is a really simple thing, probably not even considered a feature: The search field allows selection and pasting of blank lines in such a way that I can delete extra blank lines all in one fell swoop, which I haven't found with other HTML editors I've tried. It may not sound like much, but it really makes my life a lot easier, since I've edited a lot of fan fiction and original fiction files that had extra blank lines. I like my pages to look neat, even in code view, and EditPad Pro 6 makes it simple. Highly configurable, it's simply the best text editor, HTML editor, CSS editor, and code editor around! It can even send email. I also used version 5, which was excellent, and it just keeps getting better! Highly recommended.
Cons: Only searches open documents. It would be a primo feature to be able to search an entire hard drive.
