"Great software"
Version: EditPad Pro 5.4.4
Pros
Useful features like Tab changing color when the file is modified - not a big thing but makes it very clear. Many user-definiable preferences, like temporary backups can be set every ... minutes, where you want EditPad to be shown in Windows Explorer right-click, ability to send email, customisable toolbar, hex editor etc. For people who like to play with colors, there are niceties like being able to set the colors of the Active Tabs, modified Tabs, right-margin, left-side numbering, the Editor workspace and various other things. Overall, pleasant to work with.
Cons
Cost more than some other Editors but then I reckon if I am going to use the tool long-term, I should get something I like
