From Just Great Software:EditPad Lite is a convenient text editor and Notepad replacement. It has all the features a solid text editor needs. You can open as many files at a time as you want, with no arbitrary file size limit. Each file will have its own tab. You can convert between ANSI, ASCII, and Unicode, and work with Unix and Mac files. You can search and replace across all open files. It has unlimited undo and redo and powerful print preview.

Version: EditPad Lite 4.5
Pros: This is a great program and I recommend it to children or adults.
Cons: There should be more fonts choosing-etc.
And also more functions, still it is kind of simple for my liking.

"These programmers are awesome!"
Pros: I haven't been WOWed by a program in a long time, but this program actually impresses me a lot. I was able to open hundreds of files in a couple seconds, search and replace text in all of them at once in a second, and save them all and close them all in UNDER a second! This is the fastest thing I've seen on the Windows platform.
