From Decisoft :This Windows add-on, which converts regular edit fields into drop-down combo boxes, remembers the history of user input. Edit Buddy also enhances File Open and File Save dialog boxes with the list of most recently used folders. In this version, the right-click menu is extended. In addition, some compatibility issues are resolved (with Visual Basic and Visual Source Safe). Version 2.0 adds support for Microsoft Office, CorelDRAW, .NET programs and other applications. More attention is paid to international versions of Windows. When Edit Buddy attaches to existing drop-downs, it now re-sizes then just like regular edit fields.

Summary: Edit Buddy has many big problems. It freezes 95/98/WinMe systems completely and causes major stability and or severe slow downs in other OS's. I'm sorrow I bought the version 2. The 1st version was better but had insufficient capabilities.
