Although it ultimately allows a user to automatically log in to select Web sites and applications, this utility is not without problems. Easy Login Assist's name doesn't seem appropriate for the multitabbed interface that could prove daunting to novice users. The app also suffers from a procedure problem. On first use, the utility requests a master password. Since one hasn't been set, some testers thought they were locked out. Simply selecting cancel and opening the app from the toolbar gained access to the program.
Very thin documentation contributes to this program's problems. There isn't a wizard or template to help users know where to start. Users must create a database, and learn the program by trial and error. Login Cards are used to gain access to password protected programs and Web sites. The multitabbed cards are not novice friendly. Even using the built-in intelligent analysis rule doesn't guarantee that the card will open the site or application. Cards used to store bank and other types of data aren't much easier to program.
The program's Memo Card function is easier to use, but doesn't offer much more than Notepad. Complexity isn't necessarily a bad feature, but poorly explained functions make a complex program easy to discard. Easy Login Assist simply isn't easy. Users are better served by Firefox's built-in log-in and password tool.

Version: Easy Login Assist 3.6
"Beware! Contains trojan horses"
Pros: none because I did not download it
Cons: I downloaded it to my desktop then ran my virus protection software. It found 2 trojan horses contained in the program. Virus protection would not allow me to install it.
