Easy Gif Maker provides an incredibly basic set of tools for creating GIF animations. Its simple layout proves to be an asset, as this program is welcoming to experts and novices alike.
We were initially turned off by the program's generic interface, which has just a few basic buttons and no design flair at all. However, we soon warmed up to Easy Gif Maker, once we realized its utilitarian design was aimed at making the entire process of creating GIF animations easy for anyone to master. While we couldn't actually create the frames necessary for animation, we were able to easily stitch together any combination of pre-existing JPEG, BMP, and other image files to create quite effective animated sequences, or, in the case of photos, a very simple slideshow. We were able to customize our animation by editing the order of the images and adjusting the rate at which they appeared on the screen. The program's lone extra feature, the Preview button, displayed our little film before we saved it all as a GIF file without losing any content. While the layout was nothing to write home about, the program functioned well. It can fulfill its goal of helping even novices create GIF animation.
Easy Gif Maker is limited to a 20-day trial period. Its plain interface is a small hurdle to climb for such a smooth and easy GIF maker; we recommend this program.

"OK, but no support"

Pros
Did what I wanted, created a .gif from 4 ,jpg files.
Cons
Crashed on my Vista machine. Used it somewhat OK on my NT machine. Delay time setting didn't seem to work as expected. Emailed support, never received a reply.
Summary
No support, for $10 I guess you get what you pay for.

It was easy to make a gif.
Cons
When you save a gif it takes you to a page that is full of add-ware. It opened 28 tabs of the same page so I had to sit and listen to my virus software alarm for 28 pages.
