From EarthNavigator :EarthNavigator.com, previously known as My World, is an interactive 3D globe that brings the whole world to your desktop. For any place in the world, you can create a link to an Internet Web site with more information about that place; link each place with an email address and send email to that place just by clicking on the place; and link a file--such as a picture, document, or program--and then launch the file when you click the place. Additional features include a photo-quality display of the globe, distance calculations, and it is now easier to create places or import from GIS sources. You can show the day-night shadow and create an unlimited number of databases for each place in the world. The program also includes thousands of new places in the world and many Web links to these places. This version features time zones around the world, maps, driving directions, worldwide weather, and Active Places. Active Places are places in the world that are are categorized and are constantly being updated.
