"Good! excellent software anti-virus"
Pros: scans almost everything .. I had a terrible virus attack before on my Laptop and tried all the available anti-viruses available but ended up nothing - trust me, ESET NOD32 did !
Cons: it would be best to have it update to detect unrecognized malwares, else you would be facing a lot of ".EXES" popin' in and out

Pros: Detects almost all the viruses and spywares. Prevents viruses from spreading through the entire computer system
Cons: Web Access Protection slows down the internet.
Summary: ESET's NOD32 Anti-virus is really one of the best of its kind. This product satisfied me to stick to one AV.

Pros: mostly i like everything about this product , i go more for the anti virus it self but not the smart security " it doesnt mean that i have issues with smart security" but the overall is perfect
Cons: id love to see a free version of it , even if its ad supported or a shrinked version just like avira personal
Summary: why do you think a ministry of education in ontario , ca buys 350,000 license and renewed them again after 3 years in 2008 , i guess three years is enough to try and trust a program in such risky and targeted environment

"Scan bad and not very customizable"
Pros: Compared to other similar products, none.
Cons: Terrible scan..ignores or can't open 75% of my drive, even when running with full admin. rights. Don't trust the scan..it doesn't do much scanning at all. Also firewall is not configurable enough, compared to other similar products.
Summary: Avira is much much better as is Avast.

"The Best Anti Virus product I have tried yet"
Pros: Many updates per day, the quickest full hard drive scanner on the market. extremely easy to use, very good online protection, very high detection rate, and removes what it find. very light on system resources, and very reliable and stable.
Cons: The only real problem is that it's only free for 30 days.
Summary: This is the best, most stable and which uses the least amount of system resources virus scanner on the market, rock solid with a huge virus database, and which is able of finding and removing new virus threats within few hours.
