Instead of searching your peer-to-peer network for music, you can search ERM for food, drink, and holiday recipes. While it's not the prettiest application in the world, the tabs and functions make it easy to navigate and operate the program. The search function runs quickly and lets you find ways to use specific ingredients like rosemary or search by dishes with main course items like poultry. If you're the type of person who wants to keep an updated database of recipes Erm offers plenty of features to keep track of your favorites. The program comes with over 300 recipes pre-loaded, but you can easily add recipes of your own and even search and add recipes from popular cooking sites on the Web using Erm's search tools. Just about anyone looking for a way to track and save their favorite recipes or find new ones should check out this app.Publisher's description

"Can't figure out why th Editor's Review gave a 4 star for this program"
Cons: - Technologically ***OLD*** (VB6 & Access DB. Could use .NET and SQL Server Express at least!)
- The look is ***OLD*** (used some sort of icons created in mid 80's!)
- The program itself is not fully functionnal. I've tried the Web Recipe Search option and the first site proposed was "The Internet Chef". So i tried to find a recipe on it, but the link inside the app was probably hardcoded and the developper probably have no right at all to extract recipe from their web site... so they decided to move the page somewhere else and we get a nice 404 Not Found page :-)
- The web site search also doesn't work the 2nd time you try it if you closed the previous Internet Explorer window. You just type a some word to find and no more IE window open... lol
- The Launch ERMSter option give some sort of error message saying that we must download something else ...
- Even for FREE i would NOT use this program. It also claim to be freeware on download.com and sorry, but for me it's some sort of shareware because you have to pay to keep all its functions.
Next time i'll give less importance to Editor's Review... because this application s... big time! Its made by a programmer who did this in his spare time and didn't wanted to spend too much time on the GUI. But the thing is that you could buy professionnal icons for just a dollar to make it look better.

"No icons created on the desktop for it !!!"
Pros: It installed fine.
Cons: It did NOT create any icons on the desktop for the program, and it was hard to find under the Start, All Programs. Also it says that it is free, but it is really a TRIAL version, which it says will run as freeware with some of the features disabled after your trial time is over. Also you get only 30 tries of the program before the trial is over. I never did like this feature in a program. I had rather have a certain number of days to try it out, rather than a certain number of times that I can open the program.
I do NOT recommend this program.

Pros: It looked and sounded nice ;)
Cons: I kept getting errors and it would shut down. Needing ERM free trial, ERMster free and I am too confused about it all. Left me feeling frustrated after spending more than 40 min. to bring up one recipe. Maybe others would post easier instructions?

"Impossible to acess the program"
Pros: I wish I could review this program. After downloading to my desktop, I get a message "runtime error 58. File already exists". So at this point I cannot use the program.
Cons: I cannot run it.
