I downloaded this, Zonealarm Pro did a regular and advanced scan. It report that this is a malware that overwrite .exe files and pretends to be a legitimate program. I deleted it without installing it.

"Triggered a virus alert"

Install was fast and painless. BUT I don't mess with programs that trigger a trojan warning with my AV software
Cons
Never really got to try it. The software triggered a trojan virus warning from AVG. I uninstalled it and ran a virus scan again just in case.
Summary
I don't know if this software causes a false positive with AVG but I'm not taking a chance. The point of the utility is to recover lost files, not infect your computer and cause more data loss.

Easy 3 step process. Just selected what you want - DONE. Very Fast. Restored all the images I lost on my camera. Deleted items found dated by to last year. Recovery process was extremely fast.
