Download all drivers from one place in just a few steps. Or back them up so you will have all of them in a single place and will be able to reinstall them in a few minutes. This tool can save you a lot of time when reinstalling Windows, especially on older computers for which the original CDs containing the drivers have been lost.
You no longer have to track down old driver installation CDs, insert one installation CD after another or spend hours searching for drivers on the Internet. DriverMax is also able to display a detailed report about all drivers (versions, release dates) installed on your system. Identify unknown devices in your computer and get Windows Vista rating information before you purchase new hardware.

Pros: I couldn't find anything good at DriverMax
Cons: -wrong updates for my home XP computers
-no direct links to the recommeded files
-spamming
-restore of drivers after changing computer configuration can be really riskySummary: I didn't have a good experience with DriversMax at all. I got several wrong updates, and those that seems alright there is no direct link to the download but they just forward you to a website. They also ask for your email and trash your inbox. "really nice during re-install"
Pros: Great way to remember all those pesky drivers when reinstalling a laptop
Cons: Seems to have missed a few drivers, but on the whole, it worked great.
Summary: I saved all the drivers before installing a new HDD in my laptop... put the OS on and ran driver max... presto: all the yellow triangles in the device manager went away and everything worked. In a different machine, it missed the driver for my video... read more >>

Pros: Nt worth the trouble
Cons: I got one wrong driver download and had to reinstall my entire system. I removed the program within 2 hours of acquiring it.
