Version: Driver Detective 6.3
"Rip off alert - way to much money for an OK product."
Pros: It works - it finds out of date drivers and offers you replacement drivers.
Cons: First - they offer you a $29 special - but then automaticly check a box to sell you a 2nd year!!! RIPOFF. Second, the update processes are not simple and somde "recommended" drivers refused to load - saying they did not support my PC.
Summary: Don't waste your time or money. IF they reduce the price to say $10 AND allowed you to run it on multiple PCs, then maybe... otherwise, it is not worth it.

Pros: It looks nice - but that is all window dressing.
Cons: Was supposed to receive an e-mail with the key code-never came.
After original cut and paste of key code, I did'nt have a key code.
Used their CUSTOMER SERVICE on their site. Told "information Found"
and would be emailed - never came.Summary: I am very careful about purchasing downloads and this one got me.

Pros: The software is great and it really helps to fix ALL problems with drivers. Plus I found 30% discount coupon here

Version: Driver Detective 6.3
Pros: Nothing whatsoever
Cons: It did not do what it said it would do, and they said they'd give a refund but instead they keep sending me in circles with processes.
Summary: I would not recommend this program to anyone. They won't even speak with you live to walk you through the issues you may come to (and I have many on my computer). Bottom line, no customer service to speak of, just emails.... endless emails. I click... read more >>
