From Runtime Software :DriveImage XML is an easy to use and reliable program for imaging and backing up partitions and logical drives. The program allows you to backup logical drives and partitions to image files, browse these images, view and extract files, restore these images to the same or a different drive, copy directly from drive to drive. Image creation uses Microsoft's Volume Shadow Services (VSS), allowing you to create safe "hot images" even from drives currently in use. Images are stored in XML files, allowing you to process them with 3rd party tools, so you'll never again be stuck with a useless backup. Restore images to drives without having to reboot. DriveImage XML also runs from a WinPE boot CD-ROM.

Pros: It works better than some paid programs , Thank you for giving this wonderful software for free.
Cons: i wish it has Bootable Cd Tool , instaed of useing Bart Pe.

Pros: Simple And Seems easy enough to use. Flat out looks like if I had the time it needs to image and restore this program would be as great as I'm finding on other sites
Cons: Takes a long time to complete 60% of 60gb drive in 14hrs time with low compression I did every once in a while during use see that it was lagging and Vista would show non responsive yet this program would continue.
Summary: Simple easy to use I just have to laugh at how they dynamically load menu's for the program. It sound like when I read about this program that it should be able to image an active drive and then re-image an active drive. We'll see in time.

Pros: It works but not well!
Cons: No partitions on the fly, you must use a larger partition or hard drive. IT IS NOT FREE ANYMORE! There customer service is the worst I have ever seen they are RUDE! Don't even waste your time downloading it!

Pros: I've used it on several XP machines without a hiccup.
Cons: Has very few reviews. I kinda stumbled onto it, and I'm glad I did.
