This program erases tracks of browser and Windows sessions, but can't display cache items prior to deletion. The well-designed interface eliminates the need for a program wizard. Users have the option of starting private browser sessions. Dr. Regener Private Sessions 4IE registers all surf traces during private sessions. Users choose to delete all tracks automatically or manually. The manual option lists tracks in 16 IE and Windows areas such as history, cache, cookies, and favorites. Users choose to keep or delete selected tracks. Deciding which files to keep is difficult as the program cannot view selected files. Windows file shredding is a welcome option. This program is limited to tracking only IE and Windows Explorer. All privacy minded IE users will find this program useful. Users of other browsers will need to search elsewhere.Publisher's description
From GPSur Dr. Erhard Regener :Most surf traces are useful. They facilitate navigation and accelerate page build-up considerably. But many trace destroyers delete radically. In contrast, a private session only will eliminate traces of questionable pages without deleting useful data. Simply start a private session if it could become dangerous. A file shredder and other security features complete the program.
