Dont Mess With Texas Report A Litterer.Report-A-Litterer gives Texans a way to actively report litter and litterbugs who are messing with our Texas roadways. Simply open the app, tap the type of litter you just saw, and use the optional voice recording function to record the offenders license plate and vehicle information (for reporting through DontMessWithTexas.org). You can also view a real-time zoom-able map of Texas with all reports, including the dates and types of litter reported. Users can also view and amend past reports, including the ability to publish reports to Facebook. Using the App: Open the App, click Yes to allow the app to use your location to report litter Acknowledge the safety message Tap on the type of litter you saw to report it. Thats it! Your phone automatically logs the type, date, time and GPS location for you. If you recorded an offenders license plate with the voice recording function, visit DontMessWithTexas.org and enter the event ID# into the Report A Litterer form online. Available information from your report will automatically populate.Active reporting helps the Dont Mess with Texas campaign and its Adopt-A-Highway partners know where littering is happening across the state. Any litterbugs reported through the Report-A-Litterer program will receive a warning letter and a litterbag, reminding them that when it comes to tossing trash, Dont Mess with Texas.
