Aside from the standard fare, this entry into the crowded toolbar genre doesn't bring much to the table.
Only true fans of DJ Brejnev will appreciate the Dj Brejnev Toolbar. It has a button that takes you directly to DJ Brejnev's Web site, but this is hardly revolutionary. The publisher promises and delivers five preset radio stations with the Internet radio, but considering the wide number of stations available, that's really not a whole lot. You can, however, easily add others, and the radio played just fine. We were baffled by the odd selection of quick links, which includes one for a photographer and another for a hair and makeup stylist. We weren't sure if they're endorsements from the DJ, or are intended only to appeal to the dance music crowd.
The RSS feed is still a work in progress, but is supposed to display DJ Brejnev's calendar of events. The toolbar is completely customizable, though, so you can remove the feed from the toolbar, and add your favorite applications and gadgets. And, all of the basic features included with the toolbar worked without any problems.
A small feature set and the regular toolbar extras add up to a toolbar that works, but doesn't stand out.
