A large food database targeting the most common foods allows you to quickly enter the food items you eat with only a few simple taps on your handheld device. The food database contains nutritional information for thousands of foods, allowing you to track calories, carbohydrates, protein, and fat. The food database is completely configurable. You can add, modify, or delete any food item you wish. Select from a list of more than 70 exercises enter the minutes spent exercising, and Diet & Exercise Assistant will automatically calculate the calories you burn. The software comes standard with a wealth of dieting information to assist you in setting up a weight loss program. The software contains graphical weight charts and a goal calculator to help you establish a weight loss program that is right for you. The software automatically totals calories, carbohydrates, protein, and fat.
"A Windows desktop version, Diet & Exercise Assistant Desktop, has been added to the product line to extend the functionality of the handheld application. After installing the desktop version, data from the handheld is automatically transferred to your PC on each HotSync® operation. Support for standard desktop features such as Print, Print Preview, Cut, Copy, and Paste are available in the desktop version. Taking advantage of the PC's processing power, a historical weight chart is available. Chart options include: last 7 days, 14 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and 5 years. An optional CSV file can be generated on save to export your data from the desktop to Excel for further charting and graphing."
