From SmartLine :DeviceLock allows network administrators to determine which users can access devices (ports, floppies, MO drives, and so on) on a local computer. Remote control is available. Once DeviceLock is installed, administrators can assign permissions to LPT ports, CD-ROMs, COM Ports, or any other devices, just as they would to any shared directory on the hard disk. Network administrators may use DeviceLock to flush a storage device's buffers (very useful for removable media) and to get extended information about devices and NTFS partitions.
