Even if you don't speak German, you may be saying "danke schoen" for this useful online radio toolbar.
As far as toolbars go, this one worked well for us on all accounts. The only problem, and the toolbar's name might have given it away, is that all of the features are in German. Deutschland Radio Toolbar's customizable interface looks familiar, so you don't necessarily have to speak German to figure out what most of the shortcut buttons do. We were a little puzzled by the toolbar's namesake, its online radio, which appeared twice on the toolbar. There's no difference between the two, so the duplication seems like a waste of valuable space. The pop-up blocker, e-mail notifier, and weather forecaster all did their jobs. The radio played every station that we selected without so much as a stutter. There's a huge selection of radio stations from all over the world to keep you happy, and you do have the option to add your own.
If you happen to speak German or don't mind the language barrier, this is a great toolbar for listening to tunes while you're browsing.

"Excellent for the Deutschophile"
Pros: Great for students of German at all levels. Great source of German language radio and television programs. I will be encouraging my students to download and use this device; it's a great learning tool. Wunderbar!
Cons: Difficult for people who aren't learning or don't speak German.
