From Dell :This is a self-extracting file that contains drivers for the Dell/3Com 3C589d PCMIA NIC card for use with Dell Latitude notebooks. After downloading and extracting, make the diskette by placing a formatted disk in drive A:. Go to a DOS prompt, change to the directory containing the extracted file, type in disk a:, and press Enter.

Cons: Have installed 2 netcards 589c/589d simultaneously - both in fault condition
