This game is a about shooting planes and paratroopers. They are attacking the dam. You should defend the dam. Shoot at fighters and red paratroopers. Avoid shooting at civil planes, green and white paratroopers.

The rough and amateurish Defence From Dam looks good for the first few seconds--until you start playing. Planes and paratroopers fly in from all sides of a 2D landscape depicting, yes, a dam. You control a set of crosshairs with your mouse. Your job is to shoot the military planes (many, if not all, from the U.S. Air Force) and avoid shooting civilian planes and friendly paratroopers. Sound like fun? It's not. The animations are static cartoon cutouts. The sound effects are meager. The planes repeatedly follow the same tracks across the screen. The goal is to amass 1,500 points in 10 minutes, but we found a couple minutes more than enough. Normally, we'd criticize a game for offering a mere two-session demo. In this case, it's a mercy.

  Cons: The entire game looks like it was drawn in paintbrush after drinking a couple of 40s.
