From DRK:Daphne is a small (system tray) application for killing, controlling and debugging window's processes. You can kill a process by dragging the mouse over the windows, by right-clicking the process in the main process list, or by typing its name with the "Kill all by name" command. You can set a any window to be always on top, to be transparent, to be enable, et cetera. Version 1.33 includes unspecified updates.

Daphne is a simple utility that makes it easier to manage your system's processes. Though it successfully let us kill and debug our processes, we found its Help file less than helpful.
You can access the program's features in two ways--right-clicking on the taskbar icon or through the main user interface. The main user interface is suitably plain, making it easy to navigate. The Settings menu lets you customize the display and configure the kill menu. There is also a feature for enabling the multidesktop feature, an uncommon feature that we liked. From the interface, you can view your system's processes, percentage of CPU use, and peak memory, and swap usage. Help is available through the publisher's Web site, but it involves sending an e-mail or visiting the forum. An index-style menu would have been more helpful, since we had questions about specific options, such as the Kill Politely option. Still, we were able to jump in and select specific applications and processes and kill them by right-clicking, or by clicking the Daphne button.
When we uninstalled the program, it did leave an empty folder in our program files, and shortcut in our Start Menu. Also, the lack of a viable Help file will be a turn-off for novices. Still, this freeware is a worthy alternative to your Task Manager.
