From Alex Thüring :DVDStyler is a crossplatform DVD Authoring System. It is free software distributed under GNU General Public License (GPL). Features: you can drag and drop MPEG files directly; you can import image file for background; you can create NTSC/PAL menus; you can place text and images anywhere on the menu screen you can change font/color; you can put basic text buttons, change font/color and background color; you can copy and paste any menu object; you can set chapters for each movie; you can change post command for each movie.
What's new in this version:
- Added possibility to refresh the list of files and directories in the file manager.
- Menu multiplexing using ffmpeg instead of mplex tool.
- Added command line parameter to auto-start the generation and burning (thanks to Vinicius Mesquita).
- Added some warning messages.
- Fixed calculation of DVD size.
- Fixed storing of default audio/video format.

"doesnt play dvd on dvd player"
Pros: easy user interface yet difficult to figure when first tried
Cons: needs improvement like all software applications when introduced to the computer users either on testing or final release versions
