Convert CD to MP3 files, CD to WAV files, MP3 to WAV files, WAV to MP3 files, VCD(dat file) to MPG file, DVD(VOB) to AVI with sound, DVD(VOB) to AC3, DVD(VOB) to MP3, Compress AVI to DivX or other format, MPEG1/2 to AVI, real video or audio to AVI, AVI to WAV. It is also good at splitting and merging multimedia files or any files (exe, rar, zip, iso, wmv, asf).
It can help you cut or split your favourite part(s) or whole mpg/vob/mp3/avi file from VCD/SVCD/DVD/MPG/dat/vob/mp3 file, avi/DivX file to hard disc, and merge them again if you will. Not only can it strip audio part from mpg/avi/divx/VCD/SVCD/DVD..., but also eliminate the sound from an avi movie and then can add any sound you like into it. It is your DV Camcorder capturer either Extract and Convert straight stream from DV Camcorder to MPEG1/2 Video. It even can let you create your own VCD/SVCD/DVD movies as well.

"Very useful , the most important is there is no spyware in it"
Pros: Very useful and has no spyware, even can run under my Windows 95!
Cons: No gorgeous GUI

Cons: This is a piece of junk. I dont see how they could have the nerve to post something like this on the web. It does NOTHING! It can't even perform a task as simple as merging 2 videos together.

"another piece of crap convertor"
Pros: none
Cons: This one takes the cake. After you finish downloading you are presented with two separate install falls. Each of them forces you to go through a million promps and waivers (most likely adding spyware). If you finally manage to get through all that, the program itself is only a 12 inch box in which you have about 3 options which most likely won't pertain to what you are trying to do. Good luck with this one lmao
