It is also good at splitting and merging multimedia files or any files. It can help you cut or split your favorite part(s) or whole mpg/vob/mp3/avi file from VCD/SVCD/DVD/MPG/dat/vob/mp3 file, avi/DivX file to hard disc, and merge them again if you will. Strip audio part from mpg/avi/divx/VCD/SVCD/DVD, but also eliminate the sound from an avi movie and then can add any sound you like into it.
