It is also good at splitting and merging AV files. It can help you cut or split your favorite part or backup whole MPEG/DAT/VOB/MP3/OGG/AVI/RM/RMVB/DIVX/VCD/SVCD/DVD to hard disc, and merge them again if you will. It is your DV camcorder capturer either extract and convert straight stream from DV camcorder to MPEG1/2 video.
It is still a perfect duplicator, which can backup your DVD perfectly, even can duplicate the 9GB DVD movie to a 4.7G blank DVD-R/DVD+R. It is a perfect recorder as well, which can record online radio, CD music, music played by Media Player, RealPlayer, Winamp, video sound, game sound, meetings, and chats over microphone. Version 5.04 has fixed a bug in startup module and some other minor bugs. Storing configuration dialog position; showing motion vectors - just first draft, will be. Version 5.05 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: DVDCutter Stream and Mp3CDWav Converter Pro 5.05
Cons: Did not work for my purpose. Tried to edit vob file created by DVD recorder. Have to play file separately and do cuts based on time, but time scale was inaccurate so several attempts were required to get cuts in the right place. File from join of two cuts only played on computer: stalled at join point on DVD player. DVD to MPEG conversion file won't play. The features sound great, but they don't quite work. At least they didn't for my application.
