When you request a Web page, DPWeb retrieves, transforms, and reformats it into text-only content appropriate for your handheld device. For instance, if the page you access is a frames page, the frames will be replaced by links to each frame's content. DPWeb also supports access to WAP and I-mode sites. This download includes both DPWeb Basic and DPWeb DX. DPWeb Basic is a free service that gives you basic access to standard Web sites. DPWeb DX requires a registration fee; it enables secure-sockets layer (SSL), cookie support, bookmarking, and advanced search capability.
