Version: DIY DataRecovery iRecover FAT/NTFS 1.1.7
Pros: The trial version let me recover one folders worth (not any subfolders, but definately greater than 100k: limitation of other trial-ware) and the data was intact (where other programs recovered, but data was corrupt).
Cons: worked at the cost of taking a long time (and user-friendliness is OK, not great).

Version: DIY DataRecovery iRecover FAT/NTFS 1.1.7
"I thought all hope (and data) was lost..."
Pros: Simple, stable, and most importantly effective. I tried 3 other recovery programs for my 80 gig HD, and 2 of them didn't even detect the drive. The third one found it, but couldn't do anything because it didn't recognise the file format. This one took a long time, read the entire disc, and realised that it was an NTFS with some problems. All files recovered... can't say enough about this program. Try it!

Version: DIY DataRecovery iRecover FAT/NTFS 1.1.7
"Recovered files when nothing else would!"
Pros: Recovered .doc files from old NT4 NTFS volume. Other programs returned file names and garbage, iRevcover got everything! Wife now happy, Thanks.
Cons: With known spyware named i(something) perhaps the name should be changed.

Version: DIY DataRecovery iRecover FAT/NTFS 1.1.7
Pros: It quickly and effectivly restored the data on my hard drive. I had no trouble and it was easy to navigate.
Cons: It's only shareware so you can't restore your whole drive. But I'd pay the money to get it.

Version: DIY DataRecovery iRecover FAT/NTFS 1.1.7
Summary: I downloaded this twice from two different sites and could not even get it to start.
