DFX for Winamp is a sound-enhancing plug-in available for the Winamp player. With the DFX enhancement, users of Winamp can listen to their music in high fidelity. A DFX enhanced version of Winamp is designed to transform the sound of an average PC into that of an expensive stereo system placed in a perfectly designed listening environment. Settings give users control over five qualities of playback: fidelity, ambience, 3D Surround, Dynamic Boost, and HyperBass.
