From MicroOLAP Technologies :DAC for MySQL (also known as MySQLDAC) is a component suite for Delphi, C++Builder, and MySQL. This component suite allows you to create Delphi or C++Builder applications with direct access to MySQL DB without BDE and ODBC. BLOB fields are supported. MySQLDAC was developed for migration of existing projects from BDE or ODBC scheme to the native one. Any MySQL library is not required. Version 2.3.2 includes support for new data type, which was introduced in MySQL 5.x, new decimal; and fixes the problems with unsigned autoinc field type.
