Publisher's description of D'Accord iChords
iChords is a harmony transcription software. It recognizes chords in audio files (MP3, WMA, WAV and CDs) and presents them on a virtual guitar or keyboard. You'll be able to see the chords of any song, without having to search for tablatures and sheet music. Easy to use, just open a song file and iChords will process and extract the chords, while playing the song it shows the current chord and the next ones with fingering, notation or intervals. iChords includes awesome features: export songs as videos, which enables you to have the song, chords and lyrics everywhere in your iPod, MP4 player or mobile phone and the editor, which allows you to easily change chords and add lyrics. Users can also control the tempo, playing the song slower or faster, choose the level of complexity of the chords, transpose and print the lyrics with the chords diagrams. It's also possible to view the guitar in four different modes, including for left-handed players.
Version 2.0 allows you to create interactive lyrics with chords, you can edit the chords and add the lyrics to the song.

Version: D'Accord iChords 2.0
"bought the 1st version and loved it but have to buy the second version again??"
Cons: having to buy something again that you already bought a license for the first time!! the older version doesn't and hasn't worked well on my Vista OS!

Version: D'Accord iChords 2.0
Pros: nothing at all
Cons: i tried to install it in my computer and didn't work
-
Version: D'Accord iChords 2.0
Pros: Nice interface
Cons: Works with Windows Media Player, but not clear how to open music files to use them. Demo limited to 20 uses, but every navigation away from main page to obtain info on how to use it counted as a "use" so I kept "using" it without actually using it.
Summary: They seem to be more worried about people using their program without paying than making it clear how to use it. As it is, I cannot imagine anyone using it without paying when it is effectively unusable in its present form.
