This simple application offers a comprehensive database of piano chords. As you might guess, D'Accord Keyboard Chord Dictionary's attractive interface displays a prominent synth-style keyboard, but it only shows you two octaves. The program lets you choose what kind of chord you want to learn from a drop-down window, and you can utilitze many built-in sounds from simple piano to glockenspiel or timpani. Included chords range from fundamentals such as simple majors and minors to the more complex. You can configure the program to show you notes, fingerings, or intervals, although it won't play back formations in arpeggios. Both beginning and experienced pianists will find this utility a valuable reference tool if they can look past the rather short 10-use trial period.

Publisher's description

From D'Accord Music Software :

Designed for beginning and advanced players, D'Accord Keyboard Chord Dictionary teaches you how to play chords on keyboard or piano. For each chord it shows the fingers and the notes that should be played. If a chord has more than one way to be played, the software will show them. Many features are available, including the ability to browse the chord database, to play a chord's sound, and to print keyboard-chord diagrams. The software can import chords from lyrics, and you can also print lyrics with the corresponding chords. If you want a chord that's not in the database, the software will generate it using the built-in chord generator. D'Accord Keyboard Chord Dictionary is also a very good reference tool for musicians and songwriters.
