From NovoSun Technology :CyeWeb One Channel is a 1-channel free version of CyeWeb, which is IP/CCTV video surveillance software with hybrid video/audio source support to IP camera (Axis, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Arecont), PCI/PCI-E based capture card, hardware video compression card, USB-Web cam. It has network functions such as e-mail notification and Windows Media Broadcast. It also has a tagging system to automatically insert tags into triggered events, and offers you a rich playback interface for video searching and management.
In addition, CyeWeb supports mega-pixels camera, with frame rate from 5fps to 60fps, and pixel formats YV12 to RGB32. CyeWeb also has functions such as e-Map, timeline playback, instant playback, PTZ, scheduler, motion detection, de-interlace filter, mask filter, and storage recycle. Version 2.1.18b is a bug fixing release.

Pros: None worth mentioning.
Cons: False advertising. This is a 21 day trial according to novosun's introduction pdf. CNET should take this down.
