IP Camera Viewer keeps eye on your home, office, parking area, or anywhere you have an IP camera. View video from multiple cameras simultaneously. More than 1800 different IP camera models are supported including Axis, Canon, Cisco, D-Link, Foscam, Linksys, Mobotix, Panasonic, Pixord, Sony, Toshiba, and Vivotek.

Virtually all USB cameras work with IP Camera Viewer. IP Camera Viewer allows you to individually configure video properties such as the resolution and frame rate for each camera. You can also set image properties such as saturation, brightness, and contrast for USB and IP Cameras. Arrange multiple IP cameras in the preview layout you want. What if your camera is mounted upside-down or its preview is tilted a bit? With IP Camera Viewer you can adjust the orientation of your camera preview. You can also ad just the coverage area with support for PTZ (Pan, Tilt, and Zoom) enabled network cameras. IP Camera Viewer lets you digitally zoom on an image, even if your camera doesn't support zoom. IP Camera Viewer is free and ideal for both personal and business purposes.

free version is great but..

Pros
If you want softwre that will display up to 4 cameras, mixing USB webcams and IP network cameras of various brands, but don't need any video recording, this is a good choice. It automatically detected both kinds of cameras, making setup simple.
Cons
However, I need more than 4 cameras and I need to be able to record. The company has a non-free version for this but it is priced according to the maximum number of cameras you want and it's not cheap. Not only that but as a service technician I know how much or a problem it is if you can't get any or even good support from the manufacturer. I emailed them with a simple question, stating that I was using the free version but I would be planning on purchasing an upgrade if all went well, and never had a reply. That was several months ago.
Summary
Great free version, but don't expect any support even if you are thinking of purchasing the non-free version.

Summary
No other programs, software, or ads came with this download from DeskShare. This program does what I wanted. It's nice to see detail on all four cameras at once on a big screen rather than a cell phone. It can't replace the manufacture's software without paying $90, but it's a quick handy tool.

Pros
Views 4 cameras simultaneously on one screen. Easy setup, worked with the different camera models I have. Resizable so I can keep it up on half of the screen on one monitor while I work on the other one.

Have to use the pro version to view more than 4 cameras

Installed a wide array of misleading pop-ups on the computer. Advertisements and other miscellaneous garbage. Had to spend an hour scrubbing my registry to get it out.
Summary
I would rather pay than have this kind of underhanded trash on my computer. I am switching to a different app.
