Version: CyberLink PowerDirector 7
Pros: easy as 1 2 3, very friendly, the pictures/video and sounds are clear...
Cons: 1. just put another video track so it can play two videos like in "video edit magic" so we can switch it from time to time...
2. the effects are more on cartoon characters, how can you put an effects in wedding, it make looks like cartoon wedding....

"Cyberlink PowerDirector is too good rather than other editing software."
Pros: Transitions and effects are unique.

Version: CyberLink PowerDirector 7
Pros: I really liked the versatility of the features. It took some trial and error to figure out how the features worked, but I found it did everything I needed to edit a simple video of my child's graduation program.
Cons: I found that the help section was not helpful. Some of the import features (specifically in the create disk section) were not easy to use. My biggest complaint is the "30 Day Free Trial" was not honored. I had downloaded this software with the intentions of purchasing it should I like the functions. I downloaded this on a Tuesday. I spent several days familiarizing myself with its features. On the Sunday following I had decided to complete the project I was working on, as I felt it was ready to burn my DVD, but when I tried to start the software, it said my "30 Day Free Trial" had expired. It had been less than 7 days. It really is a shame because I thought I could really enjoy this software, but I'm not paying the price since I hadn't completely utilized the software to make an educated decision.

Version: CyberLink PowerDirector 7
Pros: It's got great versatility and if really fun to use!!!
Cons: The program constantly crashes and I have to save after every edit I make. Contacting Cyberlink (power directors creators) support was even less helpful because they never helped me. I've contacted them multiple times, and the "canned" advise they give me is useless.
