  "One of the best movie editiors there is"

  Pros: This product is my favorite to use. It has a very user friendly interface. I personally opened it and began cuting a movie apart in about 5 minutes. It has tons of effects and options. Cost around 90 dollars which is like 800 dollars less than Adobe Premier. If you want to edit your movies like a pro while spending less, get PowerDirector.

  Cons: Only thing I find is that it doesn't have the intergration of other products like Adobe Premier does. Not really neccessary though for most movie editors.

  "Manual Batch Capture Does not work"

  Pros: Nice interface, simple to use.

  Cons: 1. Could not get the manual batch capture to work (manualy setting a start and stop point, which they call "Mark in and Mark out").

  2. Cyberlink customer support is Terrible!

  All I got was repeated instructions that I had previously read in the manual. I doubt if anyone actually reads the emails to customer support, they just send out standard responses.

  3. Tried all their suggestions (and others), including a fresh copy of WinXp Pro on another HDD. Still no go. Have tried this feature on other software (Ulead VideoStudio 10, and Adobe Premier Pro trial versions), and both of these work. Since I have already purchased the software, I really want to get it to work, but so far, I am so frustrated with Cyberlink, it has put a bad taste in my mouth. Currently trying to get refund. Will go with Ulead, since Adobe is too expensive.

  "Not bad, not great"

  Pros: Not bad for the price, especially for basic editing. Interface could be better, although there are worse out there.

  Cons: I'd have appreciated knowing the demo version contains a watermark BEFORE I invested hours producing video.

  "Too many burning errors!"

  Pros: Great interface, editing tools and effects!

  Cons: I loved the trial version so much that I purchased the premium edition 2 days later. I burned my first project successfuly but that's as far as I got. I am absolutely disgusted with the software due to all the hours I have put into my projects and now I can't burn anything. I have uninstalled, re-installed and done everything "tech support" suggests. I've downloaded the patch and that's when things got worse. Before I was at least able to get to the 50% burning mark and now it won't even initialize. It would be better if I could talk to someone about the problem but they charge to speak with a person. Why would I want to pay to talk to someone who will surely be unable to help me? I will leave as much negative feedback anywhere I can unless my software starts working properly or I receive a refund for my frustration so that I may invested in something that works. My computer is new, all drivers are up to date, I have an external 300GB hardrive. I should not be having problems!

  "Far ahead and better of the rest"

  Pros: Everyone out there looking for the best video editing program, this is it. Look no further. Believe me i have tried almost all editing and authoring software good ones and junkies likewise and i believe and recommend this as the best one.

  Cons: Seriously none.

  Firstly the program gets stuck after capture in the edit phase,a minor bug probably.

  Secondly it is costly. I would have definitely bought it if i had the resources.

  Nevertheless i recommend this to everyone looking out to immortalise their videos.
