This application provides a host of handy tools for working with video files. As you'd likely guess from its name, the program converts video clips from popular formats such as AVI, MOV, and WMV into DVD, VCD, SVCD, and MPEG files. The utility's stylish interface is not likely to perplex even the most inexperienced user and makes it a breeze to transform files in single or batch modes. Besides its main skill, this program also can split files at certain intervals and merge several clips. We were glad to find that this new version includes a built-in utility for burning DVDs. Cucusoft MPEG/MOV/RMVB/DIVX/AVI to DVD/VCD/SVCD Converter Pro lets you choose between PAL or NTSC formats and specify the frame size. In our tests, the program seemed to work relatively quickly, and the demo is now much more generous than it was in the past. Home users will find this video converter a competent addition.

Cons
I purchased the Cucusoft dvd riper and youtube mate software and was charged 84.90. They never sent the software. I tried to contact them through e-mail 3 times (they wont provide a phone number) and they never replied. Don't waste your money.

Cucusoft is scam. Don't waste your money.

"This does not appear to be a true 64-bit program"

Pros
Interface is good and easy to use. Installs and runs fine on Windows 7 using a 32-bit chip computer.(Compatibility mode). 4 Gb memory.
Cons
Will not run on a 64-bit computer (Intel i7 980 12Gb memory) running 64-bit Windows 7.Will not even install.
Summary
I spent hours trying to get this to run, on my 64-bit rig. with many e-mails to Cucusoft support. It would not install. The conflict is either with the chip..or with the SBAMsvc of Vipre AV running on the 64-bit unit. My 32-bit computer has the same configuration as the 64-bit one.

None. Worked OK on XP, but has destroyed new Vista laptop.
Cons
Will NOT function withing Windows Vista. The "Vista Codecs" that Cucusoft directed me to install destroyed iTunes, back dated Quicktime, and disabled Windows uninstaller so it can not be extracted.
Summary
Absolute abomination that Cucusoft would allow this for Vista use.

It's a good program, when it works.
Cons
I went to open a file to convert and it "encountered a problem and had to close". I had downloaded because I had never had a problem with their stuff, not I'm not so sure.

I kept closing on me and wouldn't work properly.

No support from Cucusoft emailed the support 3 times no reply and no support from share-it the company that I paid is pasing the buck telling me to contact Cucusoft..........Cucusoft has no contact phone number only email.....beware!!!
Summary
Program slows down my computer and stalls after cache completes a message states cache 100% complete but the program just sites there and I have to reboot to get my computer to work. I've paid my money and I'm not statisfied and no one at Cucusoft cares..............sorry I paid up front.

Does not function as advertised. Cucusoft only supplies an email address for support... after 3 days I am still waiting for a response.

Cucusoft is a great program (AVI to DVD)!... i love it, definitely worth the $20! The program is VERY user friendly, it is as simple as clicking the "add" button, find the file you want on your hard drive, then clicking "convert & burn" after it converts it you burn it with a touch of a button!... So So So simple! ive had this product for about 8 months now, and not one complaint! their are also many different settings to choose from....Definitely the best product around for the money! Tech support is also great!... i purchased a new pc, and i had no problem getting my key code!

Cons
Picture was a little choppy. Sound went in and out. No features to pick from. Just list files and burn. I could not create a dvd menu, add audio, create chapters, edit, nothing. Maybe the full version allows this I don't know, but because the picture came out choppy and there was sound problems I will not purchase the full version.
