This application provides a host of handy tools for working with video files. As you'd likely guess from its name, the program converts video clips from popular formats such as AVI, MOV, and WMV into DVD, VCD, SVCD, and MPEG files. The utility's stylish interface is not likely to perplex even the most inexperienced user and makes it a breeze to transform files in single or batch modes. Besides its main skill, this program also can split files at certain intervals and merge several clips. We were glad to find that this new version includes a built-in utility for burning DVDs. Cucusoft MPEG/MOV/RMVB/DIVX/AVI to DVD/VCD/SVCD Converter Pro lets you choose between PAL or NTSC formats and specify the frame size. In our tests, the program seemed to work relatively quickly, and the demo is now much more generous than it was in the past. Home users will find this video converter a competent addition.Publisher's description
From Cucusoft :Cucusoft MPEG/AVI to DVD/VCD/SVCD/MPEG Converter Pro version includes all the features of the Lite version, and it has a MPEG encoder engine inside (3x faster than real-time), and enables you to convert AVI files directly to MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, with dimensions at your control. In addition, you can merge several video clips into one MPEG file or convert multiple videos in one batch. The main features include the ability to convert all kinds of video files to DVD, VCD, SVCD, MPEG-1, and MPEG-2 formats; support for DivX AVI, XviD AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV, ASF, MOV, RM, and RMVB as source file; and a split function, which cuts a large MPEG file into several smaller parts to fit a CD-R's capacity. Version 6.15 fixed a bug about writing log when conversion done.

Version: Cucusoft MPEG/AVI to DVD/VCD/SVCD/MPEG Converter Pro 6.15
Pros: I am looking to purchase a package with these qualities listed in the description, but the description by Cucusoft dosn't even say if it writes to a CD after a DVD to SVCD conversion.
Cons: Seems to be fairly nice but if you are limited to one minute of processing how do you know that it is worth the time of downloading? That is hardly a trial run. I am looking for a ALL-IN-ONE package...
